One step closer

Her bright green eyes flutter open from a nights sleep, wrapped up in a white silk sheet on her bed.  She lets out a deep long stretch, with yawn knowing that today is the day she starts the process of her leaving the hell she has known all her life.   Her green eyes still filled with the sleepy gaze as she raises her hands to rub them, with her hands curled up.  She gets up and walks to the mirror seeing now that her marks are now all gone, only a bit of pain remains, and discoloration of it.

She turns to look at the back of her calf where her clan mark's was remembering the words spoken to her the founder of her corp "No more fate, no destiny, no marks by mystics only freedom by choice and the choices we make, and the patch and family, you choose to wear  and belong to, the club you choose to belong to. Your choice, your freedom, your future. And together we'll make the best of it."  Closing her eyes for a moment, with a distant smile on her face knowing soon, that the life she left there will only be a distant nightmare, a distant memory.

She walks with a sway to her body over to her dresser, running her dark hands through her dreads to get them untangled.  She carefully picks out her clothes to wear today because it is a big step for her, leaving the life she knows behind to start a new here.  This is where her, Ami and Duncan begin a new.  Leaving all that pain and torment that the life they had brought them and not having to worry about changing their ideals to be someone they are not.

She slips into a pair of black skin tight jeans, then slips into a red short sleeved shirt.  She extends her leg and puts on her boots, then as she turns to face the mirror, she slips on her black leather vest with the Damnation Angels Corporation Symbol on it.  Running her hands down each side that opens in the front, over her right breast the word Solider has been put on. Slinging over her shoulders two pistols and a large knife in the small of her back, just in case things escalate to an unneeded level of hostilities, she would rather be prepared.  She heads out of her apartment and heads to the hanger to get into her pod to make her way.

Finally arriving at her destination, she comes out of the dressing room in the station and makes her way over to where she was directed to the immigration officer for Curse.  She sits down in a office waiting to be seen as she crosses her legs to wait her turn to be called in, her foot bounces with anticipation as she reads her datapad.

A tall Sebiestor woman comes out of the closed door, looking at her datapad "Literia Corale Khammael?"

She stands up and nods her head once "Here, I am Literia."  She walks over to the woman.

The Sebiestor looks her up and down, then back at her datapad again "Hmm, very well, follow me into my office." Turning around to walk back into her office, holding the door open for Literia.

Literia nods and follows the women inside the office as she stands near a large wooden desk with chairs in front of it and one chair behind it.  She watches the woman sit down in the chair behind the desk "Please have a seat Miss Khammael."

She moves into the seat and sits down with her hands in her lap waiting for what the woman has to say next.  "You are a capsuleer, yes?  With Damnation Angels in the Naraka alliance correct?"

Literia smiles politely and speaks "Yes Ma'am."

The Sebiestor nods her head slowly "Mm, good.  You are seeking to apply for Citizenship here in Curse, for you and the two children under your care.  Duncan Khammael and Amitel Kunnani correct?"

Literia nods her head "Yes, yes I am."

"You do understand you are still not very well recieved by the Cartel as a whole, and you currently hold citizenship in the Republic." The woman watches Literia very closely with her eyes narrowed for the response.

Literia gulps and runs a hand through her red dreads "Umm" She chews on her bottom lip nervously "I am working on that by doing work for the Arch Angels at the moment, as well as I can go up to the Republic and denounce my citizenship there."

The sebeistor looks at Lit straight in her brilliant green eyes "That's a start, and yes do that with the Republic, we know how they love to whine, bitch and moan.  Your citizenship application is pending at the moment, until you earn your place with us in a more favorable light, Capsuleer or not.  Do I make myself clear Miss Khammael?"

Literia lowers her head and nods it slowly "Yes Ma'am, I understand and will work on what is required of me."  She looks up with a small smile.

The woman looks at the young red headed brutor. with a faint grin "Good, there is the door.  I have other people to see."

Literia gets up and nods once to the woman behind the desk "Thank you for seeing me and I will see you soon."  She walks out of the door and heads directly for the hangers, knowing what steps she needs to make next and what to do.

She walks down the hallways to the hangers with a mischievous little grin on her face knowing fully well she is going to enjoy the next thing she has to do.  A chance to feel a little vindicated for all the hurt and pain that has been caused to her.

For one to live in Heaven one has to walk through hell first, to show they are strong enough to survive it.
