Now it is gone.

Tears flow down her face as she steps into Ami's bedroom and quickly gets all the bags together, getting them out the door and towards the shuttle up to the station. She stays silent while she packs up the young brutor's room leaving her sleep bringing only what is important to the child. They are used to moving unfortunately, and its time to go.

She walks into Duncan's room as she sighs heavily, running her hand through her red dreads. The adolescent brutor sits on the edge of the bed looking up at his older sister in shock and confusion. "Why?" He asked her.

"We have go now, its its...we are on our own again okay? I am sorry, but we cant stay..its complicate...but trust me." She rubs her eyes as more tears fall.

"Complicated? Complicated? We had a home here...Lit don't make us go...We are happy here." pleadingly to his older sister.

She sobs into her hands as she puts her face in it "I..I...I...we cant, please Duncan trust me." Her voice filled with torment and pain.

Duncan sighs and sees the pain in his sister, realizing that its not that simple and to trust her. He walks up to her the teenage brutor wraps his arms around his older sister. "Okay, okay Lit....I trust you. What about Syn and Dris are they coming?"

She sobs softly, wrapping her arms around her little brother and faintly whispers "No, no Duncan." She trembles softly "I am sorry.....but.." She chokes back the words as they drip with pain and betrayal.

He rubs his older sister's back hearing her voice knowing that this cant be easy for the torment that is laid at her feet. "Oh....Lit, I am sorry we will get through this. I will get my stuff go get Ami."

She nods her head slowly as she lets go of the embrace slowly and wipes her tears trying to gather herself together. Walking down the hallway to Ami's room for the last time, her heart breaking at the betrayal. She steps into the room where the sleeping six and a half year old sleeps. She grabs her blankets, slipping them off of Ami and picks up her, placing her head over her shoulder then wrapping Ami in her blankets.

Amitel stirs slightly on her shoulder as she hums softly to her trying to get her to go back to sleep as her brilliant crystal green eyes glisten with the water in them. They leave the room for the last time, walk down the hallway. She knocks on Duncan's door "Ready?"

Duncan opens his door and steps out with his bags "Yah, I am sis, I love you and trust you."

The three of them walk out of the Estate, as tears fall from Lit's eyes, as Duncan speaks softly to her "Where are we going?"

Lit shakes her head "I don't know, anywhere....we will get through this."

They walk towards the landing pad there as all their luggage awaits, as the load onto the shuttle up to the station. She gets the children loaded into the shuttle, and looks back towards the Estate as tormented tears fall down her face as a shadow like figure moves towards the shuttle as well.

She had found peace.

She had found hope.

She had found family.

She had found a home.

Now it is gone.

Now in one simple act, its all gone, alone...in the darkness of space yet again.
