Reborn once more.

She stands in front of a mirror playing with her red, dread locked hair.  Just returning from the medical bay about her cough.   Seems her coughing tore a blood vessel in her throat which caused her to bleed out. Shaking her head as she stared into the mirror, twirling her fingers around and in her dreads.

"Enough, leave the pain in the past."

She walks out of the bathroom and down to a hall closet.  Pulling out what appears to be some hair dye, then making her way back to the bathroom.  She slips out of her silver tank top, again staring at herself in the mirror and takes a deep breath.

"No more pain, no more ties to the Republic.  None of it.  They cant hurt me anymore."

She starts to apply the dye to her red hair, chewing on her bottom lip.  Letting go of the pain of the past that people have done to her.  Allowing herself to be set free, growing up in a way.  Shedding the pain that once wore her down, that burden her heart and soul.  To be reborn basically anew.  Letting the dye set in her dreads, she hums softly to herself.

After awhile, she steps into the shower to cleanse her hair of the dye that was placed in it.  She steps out of the shower, wrapping one around her body, then begins to towel her hair off.  Getting most of the moisture out of her hair, she looks at herself in the mirror with her new hair color.

"Fuck this shit, I do what I want.  Because I am an Angel."

She smiles as she inspects herself in the mirror, a weight gone from her shoulders.  Her eyes seem like they have lighten up.

"Moving from the past so I can live in the present. To hell with anyone that gets in my way. Cause I am a Angel."

“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.”
