I cannot escape nor forget, for now I am whole again.

"Rise and Rise again until the lamb becomes the lion." The words echoed through her mind, she lays on her bed as she stares up at the ceiling as her chest rises and falls with the sounds of heavy breathing. What a difference a year makes, how much things have changed.

She sits up on the edge of her bed as she runs her hands through her dreads, as she sighs heavily, her chocolate colored skin has a faint line of goose bumps around her. She reaches her right arm up to rub her left shoulder very deeply bruised. The black and purple colors of the bruising shows through. He is gone, and no amount of tears can bring him back to her.

She stands up and wraps a white silk robe around her as she quietly slips out of her room and on to the balcony, looking out over the desert. As she looks up at the sky seeing the storm clouds brewing knowing that this storm is for her. Vulkor weeps with her loss, he knows her pain and the trails she has been through. For he took it upon himself to rebirth her in his eyes, for they are one now. She is His Hunter, and His Shaman.

She sniffs around in the night air smelling the rain come around her, as she places a hand over her heart watching the sky dance with the brilliance of the lightening. She catches a glimpse of a lightening crack as a large scorpion figure seemed to appear in the clouds over her head as she whispers "Yes Milord I am here." The lightening cracked again "I know, Milord, I am not ungrateful." She slowly nods her head feeling the rain come down around her, as she closes her eyes again "Lamb becomes the lion. That there is no good or evil in the universe, only the perfect balance between predator and prey...light and darkness."

She wraps her arms around her as the warm rain now beats down on her whispering so she doesn't wake up any in the house as a her footing comes uneasy as the lightening rumbles so loudly "He sits with you? Thank you milord. What do you wish me to do milord?" She leans on the edge of the railing watching the storm rage on, glancing back at the door of the patio entrance.

Her crystal green eyes scan the desert as she sees some of the wildlife scurrying for what little cover there is. She looks down to her hands still seeing them covered in blood, her mind playing obvious tricks on her. Her heart was right and she knows she did the right thing. She runs a hand through her dreads as a large gust of wind blows against her on the wind it almost says "Remember what is forgotten, remember to make you whole. To make you mine completely for you at the Hunter, and all you survey are prey to your hunger. Remember to be stronger to overcome."

The lightening storm intensified at that time as she braces herself against the wind as those memories suppressed in the back of her head now come flooding forward.

As a whisper on the wind "Remember."
